Subject: Poor Customer Service Experience at MD priti modi

I recently visited Dr. Priti Modi for a medical appointment and was thoroughly disappointed with the level of customer service provided. From start to finish, my experience was marred by inefficiency and indifferent.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by a receptionist (Maria) who seemed more interested in her phone than in assisting patients. She was rude and unhelpful, providing minimal information and failing to address my inquiries with any semblance of professionalism.

Furthermore, the wait time was excessive, with little communication or updates provided to patients waiting to be seen. I spent over an hour in the waiting room, only to be rushed through my appointment once I finally saw the doctor.

Overall, my experience at Dr. Priti Modi was incredibly disappointing, and I would caution others against seeking care there. The lack of attention to customer service and disregard for patients' time and concerns is unacceptable.

I will not be returning to Dr. Priti Modi and will be exploring alternative options for my healthcare needs in the future.

Cares for her patients in an old fashioned way often being the one to answer phone herself off hours. Office runs in haphazard mode and is pretty disorganized, virtually always being behind schedule even for first appointments. Do wish Modi thinks more broadly about overall care and wasn't such a painkiller pusher. She turned my mom into a dependent zombie.

Awful office staff. I sought out Dr. Priti as my new PCP under a new health plan. I needed a physical and booked an appointment. A few days before my appointment, I was left a message stating that they needed to reschedule my appointment because they're overbooked. Fine. Then they called me on the day of my former appointment, which I was told on voicemail was canceled, asking me where I was. I told them that I was under the impression that the appointment had been canceled. They said, no, it was moved to a new time. Ok, whatever - I missed my appointment. Then they ask me if I could do a telehealth appointment because Dr. Priti was out in a family emergency. I said I wanted a physical. They pushed more for the telehealth appointment!! For a physical!! I can't speak to Dr. Priti's medical competence because I never saw her, but if her office staff is any reflection of her, I'd stay away. Needless to say, I'll be looking for a new primary care doctor.

On August 26, 2020 I had just found out that I had contracted Ring Worm from our dog. This was just one more thing to have to deal with with everything going on in the world. I called my doctors office immediately and Elizabeth answered the phone so polite and professional. I started to tell her the ring worm issue and I started crying. I was just so done and was in full anxiety mode. Elizabeth right away said, oh know I'm so sorry that you have that. She was so caring and had so much empathy just for me. She immediately sent a message to Dr. Modi, who of course in my opinion is the best doctor. Elizabeth fixed me up and told me not to worry it will go away. Elizabeth, if you are reading this, there is know way I would have made it through the rest of that day. You are truly an amazing person and are right where you should be. We need more people like you in the world. Thank you so much for being there for me, when I needed it the most that day.

It took months to schedule this appt. My first appt through Blue Shield and first appt with Dr
Modi. I need medical care, I had to take time off work to make the appt. I showed up 30 mins early, there is VERY limited parking here. All the parking for Dr Modi office was taken. The only spots open were for the laundrymat and there are signs indicating you will be cited and towed by modesto pd. I waited in the parking lot. Tried to call their office but they are closed for lunch and no option to leave msg. So I waiting and checking for open parking for the next half hour. More cars showed up and still no parking. I reluctantly drove home. Called their office after arriving home and let them know why I cannot make appt because of no parking. Her first response was that she sees an open spot outside her window. Lol which is super helpful. Then she proceeds to tell me I will be charged 25 dollars cancellation fee. So instead of apologizing for wasting my time this afternoon, they thought it reasonable to charge me money. Unbelievably ridiculous response. I filed a grievance through insurance. Completely unacceptable. Starting to really think it was a big mistake switching to blue shield.

Terrible Doctor, dropped a lot of her patients during the Pandemic, then had her staff lie to some of the male patients she dropped and told the to tell the male patients that it was only a women's clinic now which was a lie. Dr. Modi discriminated against several sick patients while technically still their doctor. Level of service is horrible, just another greedy doctor who only cares about finances instead of the oath she took to care for sick patients.

There is no staff to help you. I tried for two weeks to ge an appointment only to be told someone would call me and they never did. I would call again and that is what they kept telling me. I have never experienced a doctors office like this that people answer the phone but can’t make an appointment for you and no one ever calls ridiculous!!!
