Derek is an unreliable, excuse-prone piece of work.
I paid Derek in advance for front windshield replacement and rear glass in my truck which is at a bodyshop. He ordered both, installed the windshield, rear glass didn't fit. After 10 days finally said he couldn't find the rear glass. I ordered the glass myself, which I had already paid him for. (Why can I find glass that a glass guy can't) ? I delivered it to the body shop to the truck on a Tuesday, he then said he was out of town and promised to install that same week on Friday. No call no show, wouldn't return my calls or texts, finally the following Tuesday he responded with a text "in court" After more texts and calls all week, I finally text "I've been more than patient, that's fixing to end" I Didn't hear from him until Saturday when he then had another excuse and said I was threatening him and "that don't fly w me" So I'm hiring a small claims attorney to try to get my money back. DO NOT PREPAY THIS GUY

I paid up front to have my glass removed for paint and a new front windshield and seal put in on the front. He came and took the glass out then ghosted me after the car was done with paint.

I called Derek after visiting Satellite who quoted me close to $900 to get my windshield fixed. Within 30 minutes, Derek texted me back and informed me that he'll check to see if my windshield was in stock. Then first thing in the morning, he found out it was so we set a time the next morning and he came to my work and fixed it perfectly within 45 minutes. He charged me just $350 too. Just about as smooth as an experience as you can have. 10/10 recommend.
